  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt (as needed)
  • Water (for kneading)

For Filling (Godhuma Peddi Style):

  • 2 boiled potatoes (mashed)
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 green chilies (chopped)
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp oil

Step-by-Step Recipe:

Step 1: Prepare Dough

  • In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and oil.
  • Add water gradually and knead into a stiff dough.
  • Cover and rest for 20–30 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare Filling

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
  • Add onions, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste. Sauté well.
  • Add turmeric, chili powder, and salt.
  • Add boiled potatoes and peas, mix well.
  • Sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes and let it cool.

Step 3: Shape Samosas

  • Divide dough into small balls.
  • Roll each into an oval shape and cut in half.
  • Make a cone shape and fill with potato mixture.
  • Seal edges using water.

Step 4: Fry Samosas

  • Heat oil on low-medium flame.
  • Fry samosas slowly until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove and drain excess oil.
