Dhaniyalu Karam Podi Recipe (Step-by-Step)
Ingredients

Coriander seeds (Dhaniyalu) – 1 cup

Dry red chilies – 10 to 12 (adjust to taste)

Bengal gram (Chana dal) – 2 tbsp

Black gram (Urad dal) – 1 tbsp

Cumin seeds – 1 tsp

Garlic cloves – 6 to 8 (optional)

Asafoetida (Hing) – ¼ tsp

Salt – as required

Oil – 1 tsp (optional, for roasting)
Step 1: Dry Roast the Ingredients

Heat a pan on low flame.

Add coriander seeds and dry roast until aromatic. Remove and keep aside.

Roast dry red chilies until crisp.

Roast chana dal and urad dal until golden brown.

Roast cumin seeds lightly.
